BeyondBeaver has a variety of templates for landing pages specific to certain markets – ebooks, courses, finance, weddings, photography, online apps and many more. To use the templates you’ll need the Pro or Agency version of Beaver Builder and the Beaver Builder Theme installed. You can use other themes but to ensure the best compatibility, we recommend using the Beaver Builder Theme.

How to install and use the landing page templates.

Once you have your Beaver Builder plugin and theme installed, head over to the Beaver Builder page builder settings and make sure your Template settings are the same as mine below. This will ensure that you see the templates post type in the WordPress sidebar.

The next step is to unzip the BeyondBeaver file you downloaded. You’ll have a single xml file, for example ‘finance-done.2016-05-20.xml’ which you will use by importing using the standard WordPress import wizard. Go to Tools–>Import and click on WordPress importer to get to the screen shown below. Click on Choose file and upload your BeyondBeaver XML file.

You be asked to either create a new user or assign the new template to an existing user. I always assign imports to my own user account. Once the file has been successfully imported, you’ll see a new template in the Template post types list. You can now use this template as a starting point for any new page you create.

To use the new landing page template, create a new WordPress page and make sure to choose the ‘No Header/Footer’ template in the page sidebar. Then click the page builder tab to initiate the front end page builder.

Once the page builder opens, Beaver Builder will ask if you want to use one of your templates. You’ll see your new template listed. Go ahead and choose the new template and your page will update in the background with the new landing page layout.

You should now have a complete landing page design where you can now edit and swap out images to complete your design.

BeyondBeaver Landing Page Templates

BeyondBeaver makes plenty of well-designed landing page templates – one of my favourites is ‘Still Memories’, a page template for Photographers. It features full-width images, bold fonts and well laid out galleries. All of the fonts used in the templates are standard fonts included in the Beaver Builder page builder.

This newly released add-on brings a lot of additional features to Beaver Builder’s page builder and adds a new button called ‘Sections’ in the admin bar where you can load ready-made calls to action, heading elements, logos and many more powerful and useful elements. The plugin also makes available useful row templates that you can use to set up your pages quickly. UABB publish an extensive overview of their Beaver Builder Row Templates which they call ‘sections’ in their app. Row templates can be dragged over just like modules to enable you to build up your page quickly.

The additional ‘Ultimate Addons’ content section has many more elements to choose from, too many to list here and the opportunity to customise each is pretty much endless. There are so many modules to work with – check out their module demo page for more info on each of these.

One of my favourites is the Photo module that allows you to set sizes, positions for both desktop and responsive pages, hover effects and coloured borders and backgrounds – simple little extras that make your site really unique.

Buttons get an additional 3D option in addition to the standard flat, gradient and transparent options. UA also adds additional controls to all of its font options, allowing you set sizes for various devices. That means no more duplicating elements for display on smaller devices; a real time saver. Another great addition is the line height settings for fonts so you can set specific styles on the fly.

All in all, my experience so far with the new add-on has been great. You’re going to find it hard to use the standard BB modules where Brainstorm add so many more features in theirs. Brainstorm are offering a lifetime purchase option – join their closed Facebook group for details.

The add-on pack can be installed for Beaver Builder Lite as well as Standard, Pro and Agency versions of Beaver Builder. One purchase of PowerPack enables you to use it on multiple sites which is great for WP Multisite users – install once and enable for all subsites. You can white-label the plugin for tighter integration with your agency or network.

The plugin adds plenty of useful modules for BB like dot navigation for vertical screen sections, cool row dividers, flip and info boxes, column separators and info lists. Install the plugin and either accept all of the new modules or pick the ones you’d like to enable by using the modules admin page in the Beaver Builder settings.

PowerPack also adds a great little preview button to the page editing screen so that you can preview your pages without having to save and exit from the Beaver Builder page builder interface. In the latest version of the plugin, PowerPack includes an admin interface to control the installation of row and page templates and the extensions that come packaged with the plugin.
